Servant leadership can be huge fun. And very challenging.
“Allowing me space to reflect from a greater perspective is so important.”
says Kosha Joubert, President of GEN (Global Ecovillage Network) International.
GEN is a growing network of sustainable communities and initiatives that bridge different cultures, countries, and continents. It serves as umbrella organization for ecovillages, transition town initiatives, intentional communities, and ecologically-minded individuals worldwide. It offers inspiring examples of how people and communities can live healthy, cooperative, genuinely happy and meaningful lifestyles. Its work is fabulously inspiring.
Kosha is one of a growing number of leaders using support from the One Leadership Project. “There are so many demands and expectations.” she explains. “These conversations are an important part of gaining inner comfort. It’s helping me to be more calm in the midst of a lot of things happening.”
In the midst of serious work, lighter moments can be important. “I really enjoy the way it feels like a dance together. I find the reflections very helpful. And I love the questions. Together it allows joy and laughter.” she adds.
We love supporting Kosha and GEN and look forwards to them gaining ever more reach and influence in bringing positive change to the world through their work. For more info on GEN see http://gen.ecovillage.org/
